Master Aldo Aviñante is a Son of Lourdes from Batch 2007. Last Friday, September 13, 2019, he gave a talk to our Grade 11 and 12 Masters and varsity players about Career Pathways in Sports. He emphasized how skills and academic training and values formation in Lourdes School of Mandaluyong helped him in his career, especially now as FIBA’s Regional Communications Manager for Oceania. He also shared memories and lessons from his varsity days, and how his playful and naughty times in Lourdes School even almost prevented him from graduating High School. What was most meaningful to our young Masters was how he rose to the challenge of excellence and character to become a worthy Lourdesian and how his transformation helped him to flourish in his career.
