Today, Lourdes School of Mandaluyong is one with the nation in commemorating the death of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. He was one of the prominent leaders of the opposition and the leading figure in the fight against dictatorship. His death become the turning point in the struggle of the Filipino Nation since the declaration of the Martial Law.
May we, the Filipinos of today, remember always to fight for the truth and safeguard the right of all.
