On All Saints’ Day 1950, Pope Pius XII solemnly declared as divinely revealed truth that our Blessed Virgin Mother joined her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in body and soul at the end of her earthly life. This is a cause of inspiration and hope for all of us who look forward to our resurrection and communion with God for all eternity. This solemnity celebrates the virtues of Our Lady as well as proclaims the eternal inheritance promised to us through the grace of God. Pax et bonum!
