We congratulate Grade School Son of Lourdes 2011 Jan Marvic Cruz for graduating Cum Laude in Nursing from Sacramento State last May, 2020. He graduated Sixth Grade as an accelerated student; he was, however, unable to finish his senior year in high school with us because he had to emigrate to the United States. He nonetheless finished his high school term that same year in Tallahassee, Florida. He is currently a Covid frontliner in an acute care hospital in Modesto, California. He says he serves with “high spirits” and extends his gratitude to LSM and his teachers for his education and formation.
We commend his joyful service in this time of pandemic. We pray that he continues being a brother to all and a man of service, always preserving integrity of character in the spirit of holiness and generosity of self come what may. Pax et bonum, brother, and may you always do proud the School We Love So Well!
