Last March 14, Afterglow 2025 lit up the Pax et Bonum Gymnasium, and it was nothing short of legendary. The High School Night is something we look forward to every yearβa chance to let loose, make memories, and just have funβbut this year felt different. Celebrating 65 years of Lourdes made it even more special. From the second the doors opened, you could feel the excitement in the air. The whole place was buzzing, and you just knew it was going to be a night to remember.
The night opened with Lights Out setting the tone with an intense set that got the crowd moving right away. From there, it was a nonstop wave of performancesβsome from our very own Lourdesians, others from guest actsβbut every single one built on the last, making the night unforgettable. Andreβs set brought a calmer vibe without losing energy, One Click Straight had everyone swaying and singing along, and Matti kept the crowd on their feet with a DJ set that turned the gym into a full-on rave. Dance crews ABTIK and Baila Rosa also came through with sharp routines that had everyone cheering and hyped up.
And then Zild came on to close the night. The moment he walked on stage, the crowd went wild. He ran through some of his most popular tracksββDekada β70,β βKyusi,β and even sang βC2 Na Redββand the energy was unreal. Everyone was screaming the lyrics, jumping in sync, and completely locked in. Zild didnβt need to say much; the music did all the talking. It wasnβt just a performanceβit felt like he was letting us into something bigger.
But what made Afterglow 2025 unforgettable wasnβt just the musicβit was the feeling that no matter who you were, you belonged. Lourdesians, teachers, alumni, and even strangers in the crowdβeveryone felt like they were part of something special. Whether you were dancing with your closest friends or vibing next to someone youβd never met, it didnβt matter. For one night, we were all moving together, screaming together, and sharing a moment that felt like it could last forever.
Huge thanks to the Student Government for making it all happen, the teachers and staff for keeping things running smoothly, and the performers for giving us a show we wonβt forget. Most of all, thank you to everyone who showed up and made Afterglow 2025 what it wasβa night that reminded us what it means to be part of something bigger.
