A Lourdesian’s Journey of Faith and Purpose
EARLIER TODAY, March 19, 2025, Lourdes School of Mandaluyong held its Grade School Vocation Jamboree rekindling into the young masters’ hearts a deeper understanding of faith, purpose, and joyful service. Through engaging activities and meaningful reflections, our students explored how God may be calling them to live a life of compassion and mission.
The Grades 4 to 6 masters gathered at the Saint Francis Theater – Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, where Rev. Fr. Jusfer John A. Albert, OFMCap., the school’s Campus Minister, delivered an inspiring talk on vocation, the rich history of the Capuchin Franciscan Order, their charism as well as missionary apostolate. The masters reflected on their calling through journal writing, connecting faith with their personal aspirations—a true hallmark of Lourdesian education.
Our Kinder to Grade 1 masters explored their faith through videos, art activities, worksheets, and collaborative sharing, creatively expressing their understanding of God’s call. Meanwhile, Grades 2 and 3 watched an insightful video on holy vocations, worked collaboratively on meaningful tasks, and engaged in reflective sharing sessions, which promoted deeper conversations about faith, purpose, and service.
This half-day event, organized by the Lourdes School of Mandaluyong Campus Ministry, reminds us that being a Lourdesian goes beyond academic excellence—it is about living with faith, embracing our purpose, and serving with joy, love, and a profound sense of mission.
