Today, we celebrate the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Jesús Nazareno, a profound celebration of faith, devotion, and perseverance that holds deep historical and spiritual significance for Filipinos. Since its arrival in 1606, the image of Jesús Nazareno, has become a powerful symbol of hope, sacrifice, and redemption for generations of Filipinos.
As Lourdesians and Christian leaders, we are called to embody this same spirit of faith and devotion. Like Señor Jesús Nazareno carrying His cross, we, too, are reminded to embrace our own crosses with courage and perseverance, trusting in God’s grace to guide us through life’s challenges.
May this day inspire us to deepen our faith and continue living as men of faith and joyful service, honoring our heritage as faithful stewards of God’s love.
