EARLIER TODAY, the Lourdesian community gathered in thanksgiving for the Fiesta Mass on the Solemnity of Our Lady of Lourdes and the celebration of the 65th Blue Sapphire Founding Anniversary of Lourdes School of Mandaluyong.
Presided by Most Rev. Honesto F. Ongtioco, D.D., Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Cubao, and concelebrated by the Capuchin administrators and priests led by Fr. Cesar F. Acuin, OFM, Cap., the School Rector, along with our former students and formators who are now ordained priests, this solemn gathering was a profound testament to our faith, fraternal unity, and 65 years of Holiness, Excellence, and Character.
Clad in their 65th Anniversary shirts, our Lourdesians actively participated in the solemn liturgy—a moving tribute to Our Lady of Lourdes, our beloved patroness. With hearts full of passion and devotion, students, faculty, and staff offered flowers, seeking her intercession as we continue our joyful journey in faith, mission and excellence. Adding to this momentous occasion, we were honored by the presence of Her Excellency Grace Relucio-Princesa, former Ambassador of the Philippines to the Holy See.
